While the story does focus on how God's love is unconditional, it goes past the obvious message and suggests that people make the changes in the world that they want to see. The movie will start of slow, and fast forwarding might be a nice option.

As you get to the middle of the movie, there are some funny scenes, a little action and an attempt to build a complex storyline based on the interconnectedness of the main characters and the supporting cast of children. This movie has to be made for TV, but that does not, in itself, make it a bad movie. I had read some reviews and was open-minded. The start was reasonable and gave no immediate notice of the movie's overtly Christian message although, looking back, the signs were all there from the very start.

The primary female role is the white widow of a perfect white husband who was killed in a predominantly black area. I thought I was in for a revenge, Kill Bill style movie but was sadly disappointed.

I guess revenge is not a Christian value since even though we find out who killed the husband a white guy by the time the once grieving wife finds out she has lost interest in revenge. If you like the Christian uplifting genre, then this is good movie for you but if you do not then you will start to feel sticky with the sugary sentiment about half way through and by the end will feel conned.

A man is shot dead in an alley, and his wife, in despair, takes a gun the size of a small cannon to that same alley to shoot herself. There is a little black girl who was just hit by a car to be rescued.

So picture the backstory of a Batman movie telescoped into one scene, and then inter cut scenes of a guy in hospital on a kidney dialysis machine -- that's Unconditional in a nutshell. Truly, we live in a great age of film making. When there's a movie like this, that multiple people sign up to IMDb for just to review and give 10 stars, and that film doesn't get an Oscar nomination, what does that tell you?

I mean, if a rich white lady patronizing multiple black stereotypes while at the same time finding herself and her husband's killer her clues: he was black, had a red hoodie and a mechanic's rag -- tricky, right? Normally when the box office tries to give a story like this the boot, I know nine times out of ten, it's a great film, and this film was one of them. Great performance, the cinematography was excellent, and the performances were outright spectacular. I'll admit, I went into this movie a little nervous.

Although I knew it would be a good story, I was worried about feeling sad all the way through because of the background. Don't get me wrong, I was sad at times, but I was very thrilled that humor was also added in the film. I'm not surprised that that the box office slept on this movie, or many others for that matter.

People are so used to seeing, action, sex and cussing every five minutes, you forget how well a clean and inspirational story can be told. I think people forget it's okay to have a peaceful story, and learn from it as well as be inspired.

Michael Ealy shows his ranges as any actor in a brilliant way, and I think this movie would be one of my favorites with him in it. Please, if you want to know about overcoming your obstacles, giving yourself another chance at knowing life, give this movie a try and ignore the critics. Hollywood has got it in there heads that a movie should have sexually suggestive material, pervasive language, and blood and gore all throughout the film in order to make a good movie.

Well Unconditional proves that you don't have to have those elements in order to have a great movie. Unconditional pulls at your heart in many ways. It makes you laugh and cry several times. Michael Ealy and Lynn Collins both give great honest performances. All of the kids do too. This is an inspiring film for all to see. Please go and watch this movie and buy it when it comes out.

Show your kids these kinds of movies and let them know God loves them all the time. Excellent film about unconditional love. I was impressed by the high quality of this film. In fact, it was wonderfull. The movie talks about the love of God but it is not preachy. It shows us how we can change the world and how life can be meaningfull if we help others.

When she was leaving the hospital, she ran into a friend that she hasn't seen in a long time "Papa" Joe Bradford played by Michael Ealy Barbershop. After she going to the little girls after to pay back a promise, she see a guy named Anthony who killed her husband Billy played by Diego Klattenhoff Pacific Rim. This film is a drama that is 92 minutes long.

There were two things that add to the film. One lasted throughout the film and one when you get told at Anthony wasn't the guy who killed Billy. The other lasted for almost all of the film is when Keisha talks for the first time. Keisha can't talk because she saw her mother get killed.

The first time you see her talk is when she is whispering to a horse and to her grandma. The intense with her want away when she started to talk to her grandpa I was mad. The acting is OK. Michael Ealy gave a good performance. The film goes by fast. I would give this movie a six out of ten. The story is good.

If you watch it on TV, you will not waste your time. Today I watched for the second time the movie Unconditional! If you haven't seen it, please go buy it or rent it. Share it with everyone you know, not just the unsaved, but the saved as well! We the church need this reminder often. The best movie I have seen in a long time that depicts God's love!

This movie is good for those 12 and over. A good movie for teachers or anyone working with children. This is one of those movies that I can watch over and over and it never gets old! One thing that has kept me through Hollywood is that never underestimate an underrated movie. And I swear the Unconditional keeps that promise. It is so underrated even despite of flawless story, amazing acting and the great open and subtle messages for all the humans to witness.

This isn't a movie, this is miracle to witness. It's shame it didn't get high business and audience which clearly is the reason of Hollywood being hijacked by money makers and flashy movies, movies with big stars in it which actually have lot less to offer in terms of movie experience.

Coming from a guy from 3rd world country, it doesn't matter what is your race, religion or sect, you owe yourself watching this masterpiece. I can't thank enough the directors, actors, crew and the Papa Joe Sir you are living legend Your lives won't be the same after you see this movie. Thanks for giving me something I'll be keeping in life for long time. I absolutely love this movie, I had no idea that a low budget movie like this would move me the way that this one definitely has.

A woman whose husband died from a senseless act of gun violence decides to end her own life when a traffic accident occurs by accident nearby and her life is entangled with two others and the love she finds in it begins to change everything. The story of the two characters and how they intersect in each others lives is wonderfully played out.

I think it is wonderful that this movie is based on fact and not fiction. Anyway, I was in tears, I laughed , and cried again. This movie makes you think again what the love of God really is.. The story seems to tell us that especially when things don't work out idyllically is when you can find the real love of God.. But while love is one thing, a relationship is quite another. A healthy relationship does have conditions, of a sort: your boundaries.
