Members of the band were delighted that they did not fit neatly into one category. As Levine told Katz, "It's so much more fun to come in and have people not know what it is you're doing. They used part of the time to write songs for a new album, but the success of their debut CD refused to die down. And new fans continued to discover the band as more singles, such as "Sunday Morning," were released. He was already an established musician before joining Maroon 5, though, and has been nominated for a whopping 10 Grammy Awards over the course of his career.
