My experience is it doesn't affect how they work, just some are and some aren't. So if it runs well, I wouldn't worry about it. It's of course hard to either tell or describe from here, but injectors have a different sound than a loose valve, more of a clicking than a tapping like a valve makes.

As for the injector, it sounds like an injector, it's just a little annoying is all. I'm starting to wonder if one is giving me an issue since at idle, it's not quite smooth and when I'm doing around at a steady pace, there is a SLIGHT hesitation every once in a while, almost like there is an ever so slight miss.
